The WaterBoost WB-Advant 500 Variable Speed is a compact, self-contained high-performance boosting system for larger domestic and light commercial properties. A 500-litre WRAS-approved UK-manufactured Advant tank (650mm W × 870mm L × 1200mm H) houses the DAB Esybox Diver — a fully integrated variable speed pump that sits submerged inside the tank — delivering up to 100 l/min maximum at 5 bar maximum pressure, with WiFi and DConnect app.
The internal pump design creates a truly self-contained system — no external pump unit needed alongside the tank. The mains connects directly via the pre-fitted ¾” ball float valve. All interconnecting pipework supplied — no site assembly required. Designed for garages, plant rooms, and utility spaces where a clean, minimal footprint is important.
The UK-manufactured tank carries an outstanding 10-year warranty and the DAB Esybox Diver a 3-year warranty. Delivery is typically 1–2 working days.

More about this product
The WaterBoost WB-Advant 500 Variable Speed is a compact, self-contained boosting system for high-demand domestic and light commercial applications. A 500-litre WRAS-approved UK-manufactured Advant tank (650mm W × 870mm L × 1200mm H) houses the DAB Esybox Diver — a fully integrated variable speed pump that operates submerged inside the tank — delivering up to 110 L/min maximum at 5.5 bar maximum pressure, with WiFi via the DConnect app.
The internal Diver pump means no external pump unit is required alongside the tank — the entire system is contained within the Advant tank’s own footprint. The mains connects directly via the pre-fitted ¾” ball float valve. All interconnecting pipework is supplied — no site assembly required. Designed for garages, plant rooms, and utility spaces where a self-contained installation is preferred.
The UK-manufactured tank carries an outstanding 10-year warranty and the Esybox Diver a 3-year DAB warranty. Delivery typically 1–2 working days.
Three options in the 500L Advant range. The WB-Advant 500 Variable Speed is the highest-performing system on peak flow with a self-contained internal pump design, WiFi, and the outstanding 10-year tank warranty common to all three.
Which should I choose?
WB-Advant 500 Variable Speed — choose for the highest peak flow (110 L/min), WiFi via DConnect, and the cleanest, most compact installation footprint thanks to the internal Diver pump. No external pump unit alongside the tank.
WB-Advant 500 Esybox — choose for the highest max pressure (6.5 bar), the quietest pump (43 dB(A)), and full pump accessibility for servicing without tank disturbance. WiFi with H2D, Google Home and Alexa.
WB-Advant 500 Mini3 — choose for the most cost-effective option where 50 L/min @ 3 bar is sufficient. Same 500L Advant tank, smaller external pump.

What is the DAB Esybox Diver and how does it differ from the standard Esybox?
The Esybox Diver is a submersible version of the DAB Esybox system — designed specifically to operate submerged inside a water storage tank. Unlike the standard Esybox (which sits externally alongside the tank), the Diver is installed inside the tank, making the system entirely self-contained within the tank’s own footprint. Performance is up to 110 L/min max at 5.5 bar maximum, with WiFi via the DConnect app.
How is the pump serviced if it’s inside the tank?
The Esybox Diver is accessed via the Advant tank’s inspection lid at the top of the tank. Servicing requires the tank to be isolated and the water level reduced to access the pump. This is a straightforward process for a qualified engineer. If external pump accessibility without tank involvement is important to you, the WB-Advant 500 Esybox uses an external pump.
What is the difference between this and the WB-Advant 500 Esybox?
Both use the same 500L Advant tank with 10-year warranty. The key differences are the pump type and position. This system uses the Esybox Diver (internal) — up to 110 L/min max, 5.5 bar max, WiFi/DConnect, compact self-contained footprint. The WB-Advant 500 Esybox uses the external Esybox — 80 L/min @ 3 bar, 6.5 bar max, 43 dB(A), WiFi/H2D/Google/Alexa. Choose the Diver (this product) if footprint compactness and 110 L/min peak flow are priorities; choose the Esybox if pump accessibility and 6.5 bar max pressure matter more.
Is there a 1000L version?
Yes — the WB-Advant 1000 Variable Speed provides 1000L storage with the same Esybox Diver pump for very high-capacity or commercial requirements.
What warranties are included?
10 years on the WRAS Advant tank and 3 years DAB warranty on the Esybox Diver pump, when purchased from Anglian Pumping Services.

What is a mains pressure boosting system?
A mains pressure boosting system increases the pressure and flow of water from the incoming mains supply into a property. It typically combines a pump and a storage or expansion tank, drawing water from the mains and delivering it to taps, showers and appliances at a stronger, more consistent pressure. They are used where the incoming mains is too weak to serve modern outlets reliably.
When do I need a mains booster pump?
You normally need a mains booster if static mains pressure is below 1.5 to 2 bar, if showers run weakly when other taps are open, or if combi boilers struggle to deliver hot water. Anglian Pumping recommends checking static pressure at the stop tap before specifying a system, then choosing a model rated for the number of bathrooms and outlets in the property.
What size mains booster do I need for my home?
Sizing depends on the number of bathrooms, the type of fittings and the static mains pressure. As a guide, a 1 to 2 bathroom property with combi boiler or single shower often needs 1.6 to 3 bar boost. A 2 to 3 bathroom property typically needs 3 to 4.5 bar with an integral break tank. Larger homes need a tank-and-pump system such as the DAB Esybox with Esytank or a Powertank set.
What is a water booster pump?
A water booster pump increases the pressure of an existing water supply to give stronger flow at taps, showers and appliances. It can be a small inline pump fitted to the incoming mains, or a larger pump and tank set that draws from a break tank to feed the whole house. Boosters do not create water – they raise the pressure of the water already coming in.
What is the difference between an inline booster and a tank-and-pump booster?
An inline booster connects straight onto the incoming mains and is limited to 12 litres per minute under UK water regulations – examples include the Salamander HomeBoost and WaterBoost WB-Compact. A tank-and-pump booster, such as the Grundfos Home Booster or DAB Esybox with Esytank, draws from a break tank and can deliver much higher flow rates for larger homes with multiple bathrooms.
What is a variable speed booster pump?
A variable speed booster uses an inverter to adjust pump speed in real time to match demand. It maintains constant pressure as outlets open and close, runs more quietly than a fixed-speed pump and typically saves up to 50 per cent of the energy a fixed-speed equivalent would use. The DAB Esybox, DAB Esybox Mini 3 and Grundfos Scala2 are common variable speed examples.
