Which WaterBoost do I need?
The right size is the difference between a system that keeps up on the busiest morning and one that runs dry halfway through the second shower. Our sizer works it out from five questions about your house — and only ever recommends the right size or bigger, never smaller.
Five quick questions: how many bathrooms (including en-suites), how many showers or taps run at the same time, whether you have rain heads or power showers and how long a typical shower runs, what your mains delivers in litres per minute and bar, and where the system will go — inside, garage or loft, and whether height is tight. From those it works out how much water your house needs at once and how much has to be stored to cover it: the tank size handles your peak demand, the pump handles flow and pressure. Don’t know your mains figures? Leave them blank and it assumes the legal minimum of 9 L/min at 1 bar, so it never sizes you too small.
What the result means
The sizer gives you a tank size and a pump. Roughly, this is how they map onto the range:
| Outlets running together | Pump | Typical systems |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 | DAB Esybox Mini3 — 50 l/min @ 3 bar | Slimline 300/500, Slim 400/500 Mini3, Coffin Mini3 |
| 4–5 | DAB Esybox — 80 l/min @ 3 bar | Slim 500/1000 Esybox, Coffin Esybox |
| 6–7 | DAB Esybox Twin — 140 l/min @ 3 bar | Slim 1000/2000 Twin |
| 8+ | DAB Esybox MAX sets | Grand range — talk to us |
Tank size scales with shower length and how far your mains falls short. Low mains, small home and no room for a tank? The sizer will point you at a Compact mains booster instead.
