The Grundfos Home Booster MD300200 is a best-selling, complete, self-contained cold water boosting set designed for domestic properties with insufficient mains pressure. A high-quality stainless steel pump delivers 3.0 bar nominal pressure, controlled by the PM2 Pressure Manager on/off controller. The set includes an integral 200-litre storage tank (180L useable) with a Type AB air gap, an 8-litre integral pressure vessel, and all WRAS-approved components. Designed and built in the UK.
The PM2 controller provides pressure, pump status, and fault indicators with a reset button, and protects the pump against dry-run, air-lock, and seizure. For homes with 3–4 occupants or a slow-filling mains supply, an optional 180-litre slave tank is available to increase storage capacity. Choose the MD450200 for 4.5 bar nominal pressure (suited to 4–5 occupants).
Suitable for 1–2 standard bathrooms with typical fittings. Arrives as a packaged unit ready for installation. Recommended for utility room or garage installation on a solid level base. Not suitable for loft or attic spaces.

More about this product
The Grundfos 3.0 Bar Home Booster MD300200 is a self-contained cold water boosting system designed for domestic properties with low or inadequate mains pressure. It connects directly to the mains supply via a Type AB air gap — providing compliant backflow protection — and fills an integrated 200-litre storage tank from which the pump draws. No separate break tank is required.
The Grundfos PM2 Pressure Manager controller automatically starts and stops the pump on demand. An integrated 8-litre pressure vessel prevents short-cycling on small draw-offs. The system is suitable for properties with 1–2 bathrooms and typical household fittings.
Designed and built in the UK specifically for the domestic market, with a proven 10-year track record. Supplied as a complete packaged unit requiring only mains cold water supply, discharge pipe, overflow pipe, and electrical connections. Typically installed in a utility room or garage on a solid, level base. Not suitable for loft installation.
Three mains-connected booster systems available from Anglian Pumping Services — compared side by side.
Grundfos Home Booster 3.0 — the only direct mains system here (Type AB air gap). Proven UK-built unit, compact all-in-one footprint, no WiFi or smart features. If you need 4.5 bar instead, the Grundfos 4.5 bar model is also available.
WaterBoost Slimline 300 EXT — best value. Larger 300L tank, variable speed DAB Esybox pump, 80 l/min flow rate, WiFi and voice control — at the lowest price of the three.
DAB Esybox + Esytank — largest storage (480L) and most expandable. Best for high-demand or slow-filling-mains properties. Same DAB Esybox pump performance as the Slimline.
