The WaterBoost WB-Fixed 500 Slimline is a complete, pre-assembled fixed-speed water boosting system designed as a cost-effective solution to low water pressure or restricted flow in 3–5 bedroom homes. A 500-litre WRAS-approved slimline tank (700mm dia × 1500mm high) pairs with the DAB Dtron2 internal fixed-speed pump, delivering a reliable 50 l/min at 3 bar.
The DAB Dtron2 sits submerged inside the tank — no external pump unit required, keeping the footprint to the tank’s 700mm diameter. The tank connects directly to the mains via the pre-fitted ¾” ball float valve. Fully pre-assembled — no site build required.

The WaterBoost WB-Fixed 500 Slimline is the larger fixed-speed model in the WB-Fixed slimline range. A 500-litre WRAS-approved slimline tank (700mm diameter × 1500mm high) pairs with the DAB Dtron2 internal fixed-speed pump, delivering a consistent 50 l/min at 3 bar. Designed for 3–5 bedroom homes where maximum overnight buffer storage is important or mains flow is very slow.
The Dtron2 sits submerged inside the tank — no external pump unit needed. The mains supply connects directly via the pre-fitted ¾” ball float valve. Fully pre-assembled with no site build required. The 700mm diameter tank fits into a standard garage, utility room, or plant room space.

The Powertank 450 Fixed offers Fluid Category 4. The Salamander TankBoost is a different tier entirely — 80 l/min for high-flow applications at a premium price.

Powertank SLIMLINE 450 Fixed — choose for Fluid Category 4 compliance. 450L, 40 l/min. £818.55 + VAT.
Salamander TankBoost 450L — a different tier at £1,512 + VAT. The stainless steel submersible pump delivers 80 l/min — significantly higher flow — and includes an 8L pressure vessel. Note: plug is not supplied (8m cable only), WRAS status is not stated on the product page, and the landscape format (1670 × 600 × 640mm) requires different siting. Choose if 80 l/min is specifically required and the higher price and format suit your installation.

What is the difference between the 300L and 500L WB-Fixed models?
Both use the same DAB Dtron2 pump delivering 50 l/min @ 3 bar. The difference is purely storage. The 300L (£691.65 + VAT, 600mm dia × 1200mm high) suits most 3–5 bedroom homes with a moderate mains fill rate. The 500L (£786.75 + VAT, 700mm dia × 1500mm high) is the better choice if your mains fills very slowly or your daily demand is exceptionally high and you want maximum overnight buffer storage.
How does the mains connection work?
The mains supply connects directly to the tank via the pre-fitted ¾” ball float valve. The tank fills automatically. The Dtron2 draws from the tank and boosts pressure throughout the property. A minimum of 0.5 bar incoming pressure is required.
Should I choose fixed speed or variable speed?
Fixed speed (this product) is simpler, lower cost, and delivers consistent 50 l/min @ 3 bar. It’s a strong choice where steady reliable boosting is needed without a premium for added features. Variable speed (the WB-INT Slimline 500 at £1,117.75 + VAT) uses the DAB Esybox Diver — up to 100 l/min, 5 bar max, adjusts to match demand, and includes WiFi, DConnect app, Google Home, and Alexa. Upgrade if higher flow, energy efficiency, or smart home integration are priorities.
What warranties are included?
5 years on the WRAS slimline tank and 3 years DAB warranty on the Dtron2 pump, when purchased from Anglian Pumping Services.
Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.
Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Pallet/Large/Difficult items:
