The anti-vibration pad, reinvented — and built to fit. For decades the answer to a noisy pump has been a flat slab of foam that simply squashes under the load and slides where it’s put. The QuietPad throws that out. At its heart is a precision 3D-printed lattice — an engineered open-cell geometry designed to flex, shear and absorb vibration across its entire structure, not just compress at the point of contact.

This version is shaped specifically for the Grundfos Scala2. A moulded cradle locates the pump’s base so it can’t creep or walk, and four adjustable levelling feet let you set it dead level on an uneven airing-cupboard or loft floor. The result is a level of vibration control — and a quality of fit — a generic foam pad simply can’t reach.

A universal pad is a compromise — the pump just perches on top, free to shuffle and rock. The QuietPad is built around the Scala2’s footprint instead, so the pump drops into a recess that holds it square and stops it walking under its own vibration. Set the four feet to level, sit the Scala2 in place, and the install is done — no fixing, no packing, no shims.

Engineered, not moulded

A traditional anti-vibration pad is limited by its material — a block of foam can only do one thing, and it does it the same way everywhere. The QuietPad is different because its performance comes from geometry, not just material. Every cell of the lattice is positioned to manage load and vibration deliberately: stiffer where the pump bears down, more compliant where energy needs to be absorbed.

There’s no mould, no compromise — the structure is printed exactly as designed and refined through real-world testing, then shaped to the Scala2 rather than whatever a foam supplier happens to stock.
