The Lowara 24 litre horizontal pressure vessel (UK1100002498) is a 24 litre diaphragm vessel rated to 10 bar, for horizontal mounting. It stores water under pressure for water booster sets, heating pressurisation units and fill sets, at temperatures up to 70°C.

A replaceable WRAS-approved butyl diaphragm inside a carbon steel shell keeps the stored water away from the steel, so the vessel is suitable for drinking water. The diaphragm is fixed at the top and bottom so it cannot bend or rub against the shell, and the 1″ G connection is on a stainless steel flange.

What is a pressure vessel used for in a pumping system?

What is the difference between an accumulator and an expansion vessel?

Accumulators provide pressurised water storage, while expansion vessels accommodate volume changes caused by temperature; product suitability depends on system design.

How do I choose a pressure vessel?

Consider intended use, capacity, maximum working pressure, pre-charge requirements, installation orientation and potable-water suitability.
