Grundfos SQ Pumps
The Grundfos SQ is a 3" multistage submersible borehole pump for private water supplies, domestic and farm boreholes, irrigation and tank transfer. Each pump runs on a standard 230V single-phase supply and fits boreholes from 76 mm (3") upwards. It is built around Grundfos' MS3 permanent-magnet motor, with dry-running protection, soft start and voltage protection built in, so no separate control box is needed.
The range runs from the deep, low-yield SQ 1 up to the high-flow SQ 7, with flows up to 9 m³/h and heads up to 237 m. Pick the family by the flow you need, then the model by the total head: depth to pumping water level, plus rise to the house or tank, plus the pressure you want at the taps.
