The Evak 100EUBM-5.50T is a heavy-duty 4″ submersible dewatering pump for major high-volume site drainage. 3.7 kW / 5 HP three-phase 400V motor, semi-open high chrome steel impeller, twin silicon carbide mechanical seals, stainless steel outer casing.

The high-flow variant of the 3.7 kW range — 1,400 L/min max flow at 18.5 m max head. That’s 500 L/min more flow than the 80EUBM-5.50T (3″) at the cost of 11.5 m of head. When volume is everything, this is the pump. Aluminium alloy construction keeps weight at 34.9 kg.

Full Description

The Evak 100EUBM-5.50T is a heavy-duty 4″ submersible dewatering pump from the EUB-M series — the high-flow variant of the 3.7 kW range. A 3.7 kW / 5 HP three-phase 400V motor drives a semi-open high chrome steel impeller through a heat-treated AISI 410 stainless steel shaft, tuned for maximum flow at moderate lift heights.

This is the largest-discharge pump at the 3.7 kW power point. Compared with the 3″ 80EUBM-5.50T (900 L/min, 30 m), the 4″ version delivers 1,400 L/min maximum flow at 18.5 m maximum head — 55% more flow at the cost of 11.5 m of lift. Choose this variant when the job is fundamentally about moving volume: wide flooded excavations, major site clearance, agricultural drainage, and industrial discharge duties.

The pump uses aluminium alloy construction (AlSi7Mg discharge, covers and seal bracket), making it 14–17% lighter than an equivalent all-cast-iron dewatering pump. Stainless steel AISI 304 outer casing, motor frame and strainer resist corrosion in aggressive site environments, while an EN-GJL-200 cast iron pump casing provides structural strength where it matters. A double mechanical seal — upper CA/CE, lower SiC/SiC — runs in an oil bath for reliability. IP68 sealing allows submersion to 20 m, and the KLIXON auto-reset thermal protector guards the Class F insulated motor against overload. Three-phase operation delivers smooth start-up and lower running current (9.5 A) — well suited to sites with dedicated 3-phase distribution.

Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.

What is a submersible pump?

A submersible pump is designed to operate fully submerged in the liquid it is moving. The motor is sealed inside the pump body and cooled by the surrounding water. Submersibles are used for drainage, sewage, septic tanks, deep wells and boreholes, and for raising water from sumps, cellars and floodwater. Many stocked at Anglian Pumping handle solids in suspension.

Can submersible pumps handle solids and sewage?

Yes – some submersibles are designed for clean water only, others handle solids up to 50 mm or full raw sewage. Anglian Pumping stocks ABS, BBC, Flygt and T-T Submersibles ranges that include vortex, single channel and grinder impellers for different solids handling requirements. Always match the pump to the maximum solid size and the type of effluent it will see.

When should I use a submersible pump instead of a surface pump?

Use a submersible when the water level is more than around 8 metres below the pump installation point – surface pumps cannot self-prime beyond that depth. Submersibles are also better when the liquid contains solids, when noise must be minimised, or when the pump needs to operate in confined spaces such as sumps and chambers where a surface pump would not fit.
