The Grundfos MAGNA3 32-100 (part no. 97924257) is a single-head, cast iron, screwed (union) circulator pump for heating, cooling and ground-source systems. It gives up to 10 m head, has a 180 mm port-to-port length and runs on a single-phase 230 V supply.

The Grundfos MAGNA3 32-100 180 1x230V PN10 (Grundfos part number 97924257) is a single-head, cast iron, screwed (union) circulator pump from the Grundfos MAGNA3 range. It delivers up to 10 m head, fits a 180 mm port-to-port gap and connects with a G 2″ union thread. Power input is 9–180 W, so it uses only the energy the system needs at any moment.

AUTOADAPT control

Finds and keeps the best proportional-pressure setting for the system on its own, so the pump runs only as hard as the building needs.

FLOWADAPT and FLOWLIMIT

Set a maximum flow and the pump holds it, which can remove the need for a balancing valve on the pump circuit.

Built-in sensors

Integrated differential-pressure and temperature sensors measure the system directly, with no external sensor needed for standard control modes.

Heat energy monitor

Estimates flow and heat energy delivered, for monitoring and optimising the system (not for billing).

Grundfos GO and BMS ready

Set up and read the pump from the Grundfos GO app. Optional CIM modules connect it to common building-management fieldbus systems, and digital inputs, relay outputs and an analogue input are built in.

What does MAGNA3 32-100 mean?

MAGNA3 is the range, 32 is the nominal pipe size (DN32) and 100 is the maximum head in decimetres (10 m).

Can it connect to a building management system?

Yes. Fit an optional Grundfos CIM module in the control box to connect to common BMS fieldbus systems. Digital inputs, relay outputs and an analogue input are built in.

What is the difference between MAGNA1 and MAGNA3?

MAGNA3 adds AUTOADAPT, FLOWADAPT/FLOWLIMIT, built-in sensors, heat energy monitoring and fieldbus BMS communication through CIM modules. MAGNA1 has nine settings, a fault relay and a start/stop input. The equivalent MAGNA1 is the MAGNA1 32-100 (99221236).

Will the MAGNA3 32-100 fit where my old pump was?

Check the gap between your pipe flanges or unions. This pump is 180 mm port-to-port. If your old pump was longer, a spacer or adaptor may be needed. Send us the old pump’s nameplate and we will confirm the right replacement.

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
