The WaterBoost WB-Coffin 200 Mini3 is a compact, variable-speed water boosting system designed specifically for installations where height is restricted. The coffin-style tank sits horizontally, standing just 490mm tall — fitting under stairs, inside cupboards, and in low-ceiling garages and plant rooms where an upright tank would not.

The mains supply connects directly to the tank via the pre-fitted ½” ball float valve. The DAB Esybox Mini3 variable speed pump draws from the tank, delivering a consistent 50 l/min at 3 bar. The Mini3’s intelligent speed control adjusts automatically to match demand, maintaining stable pressure across multiple outlets simultaneously with low noise and reduced energy consumption.

Why a coffin-shaped tank?

A coffin tank is a horizontal, low-profile rectangular tank. At just 490mm high, it fits under stairs, inside low-height cupboards, and in garages or plant rooms where the height available would prevent an upright tank from being installed. If height is not a constraint, an upright slimline system may offer a smaller floor footprint for the same capacity.

How does the mains connection work?

The mains supply connects directly to the tank via the pre-fitted ½” ball float valve. The tank fills automatically from the mains and acts as a storage buffer. The Esybox Mini3 pump then draws from the tank and boosts pressure to the property. A minimum of 0.5 bar incoming pressure is required to operate the standard fill valve.

What is the difference between this and the Powertank COFFIN options?

All three connect directly to mains and share the same 200L coffin-style tank. The WB-Coffin Mini3 uses the DAB Esybox Mini3 variable speed pump — delivering higher flow (50 vs 40 l/min), WiFi and voice control, and a 3-year warranty at the lowest price. The Powertank COFFIN systems use fixed-speed pumps and are rated to Fluid Category 4 for non-potable water applications. The Simplicity model has no integrated pressure vessel and requires one to be purchased and fitted separately.

Is 200 litres enough storage?

For most 1–2 bathroom properties with a reasonable mains fill rate, 200 litres is adequate. If you need more storage in the same coffin format, the WB-Coffin 320 Mini3 (£745 + VAT) and WB-Coffin 450 Mini3 (£835 + VAT) are available with the same pump.

How does the WiFi work?

The Esybox Mini3 connects to the DConnect app via built-in WiFi for remote pressure monitoring and control. It also works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa — “Hey Google, power shower” boosts pressure; “Hey Google, sleep mode” reduces it at night.

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.
