Now supplied as the DAB Divertron 650
The DAB Divertron 1000 has been replaced by the new energy-efficient Divertron 650 as part of DAB’s updated (green-bodied) Divertron range. If you order this product, we’ll supply the new Divertron 650 as a direct replacement — same 1″ pipe connection, comparable performance, more efficient motor for lower running costs.
The DAB Divertron 1000 was a submersible multi-impeller booster pump with fully integrated electronics — used for clean water pressurisation, garden irrigation and rainwater reuse. It was designed to drop into a well, tank, cistern or borehole chamber and provide automatic on-demand pressure to taps, sprinklers and non-potable household feeds.
It has now been discontinued and replaced by the new green-bodied Divertron 650, which uses a more efficient motor for the same duty. The information below covers the original 1000 for reference; orders against this listing will be fulfilled with the new 650 model.
What the 1000 was used for
Garden irrigation from rainwater tanks, sprinkler and drip systems, outside taps and pressure washers fed from a cistern or well. Single-storey rainwater reuse for non-potable household duties. Pressure boosting from private water sources where mains pressure was unavailable or insufficient.
All these applications are covered by the new 650 with the same suitability — and lower running costs.

Why the new Divertron 650 is the right replacement
If you have an existing Divertron 1000 installed and need a like-for-like replacement, the new 650 is the direct successor. It uses the same pipe connection, fits the same installation envelope, and covers the same range of applications.

Frequently asked questions
Will the new 650 fit where my existing 1000 sat?
Yes, in the vast majority of installations. Both pumps share the same 1″ threaded discharge and similar physical envelope, so existing pipework, brackets and supports will accept the new model. If your installation is unusual or tightly fitted, send us a couple of photos and measurements and we’ll confirm.
Is performance the same?
For most domestic and garden duties — single-storey feeds, irrigation, outside taps, rainwater reuse — the new 650 covers the same applications as the 1000. The 650 has a 0.56 kW motor versus 0.65 kW for the 1000, but uses a more efficient design to deliver comparable real-world performance with lower energy use. If your installation pushed the limits of the 1000, the higher-pressure Divertron 900 may be a better choice — get in touch and we’ll advise.
Can I still get spare parts for the 1000?
Some service parts may still be available through DAB. Get in touch with the part you need and we’ll check current availability — but for most enquiries, replacement with the new 650 is more cost-effective than repair.
What if I need the float-switch version?
The new range includes the Divertron 650A with an integrated float switch, suited to shallow rainwater tanks or any source that may run dry. Order this listing if you want a float-switch replacement for your old 1000 and we’ll supply the 650A in place of the standard 650.
How quickly can I get one?
In stock for dispatch within 3–4 working days on standard delivery. Next working day delivery is available for orders placed before 12 noon.

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.
Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Pallet/Large/Difficult items:
