The WaterBoost WB-Coffin 450 Esybox is a compact, variable-speed water boosting system engineered to overcome low water pressure or restricted flow in domestic and light commercial applications. Designed for installations where space is limited, it delivers a cost-effective solution while maintaining exceptional performance, reliability, and build quality.
The system combines a robust 450-litre WRAS-approved coffin-style tank with the proven DAB Esybox booster pump, providing efficient and consistent pressure boosting of up to 80 litres per minute at 3 bar. The tank is supplied pre-fitted with a By-law 30 kit and ½” ball valve, and all interconnecting pipework is included as standard.

The WaterBoost WB-Coffin 450 Esybox brings the full performance of the DAB Esybox pump to the largest coffin-format boosting system in the WB-Coffin range. The 450-litre WRAS-approved coffin tank sits horizontally at just 580mm tall — fitting under stairs, in low-ceiling garages, and in plant rooms where upright tanks will not — while the Esybox delivers a powerful 80 l/min at 3 bar.
The mains supply connects directly to the tank via the pre-fitted ½” ball float valve. The DAB Esybox variable speed pump draws from the tank and continuously adjusts its speed to match demand — maintaining consistent pressure across multiple simultaneous outlets with minimal energy use and 43 dB(A) noise.
WiFi via the H2D app, Google Home, and Alexa compatible. Supplied complete with By-law 30 kit, ½” ball float valve, and all interconnecting pipework. 3-year DAB pump warranty. Please contact us for delivery timescales.

Which should I choose?
WB-Coffin 450 Esybox — the best all-round choice for potable water at £1,159 + VAT. Same 80 l/min as the Powertank Variable Speed but £536 less, plus WiFi and voice control and a 3-year warranty. Ideal for larger homes and light commercial with height restrictions.
Powertank COFFIN 450 Fixed — lowest cost at £975 + VAT but only 40 l/min. Choose if Fluid Category 4 compliance is needed and flow demand is modest.
Powertank COFFIN 450 Variable — same 80 l/min with Fluid Category 4 compliance, but at £1,695 + VAT — £536 more than the WB-Coffin Esybox with no WiFi. Choose only if Fluid Category 4 is a firm requirement.

How does the mains connection work?
The mains supply connects directly to the tank via the pre-fitted ½” ball float valve. The tank fills automatically and acts as a storage buffer. The Esybox draws from the tank and boosts pressure throughout the property. A minimum of 0.5 bar incoming pressure is required for the standard fill valve.
What is the difference between the Esybox and the Esybox Mini3?
The Esybox delivers 80 l/min @ 3 bar, 65m head, 6.5 bar max, and 43 dB(A). The Esybox Mini3 delivers 50 l/min @ 3 bar, 55m head, 5.5 bar max, and 45 dB(A). Both include WiFi and voice control. Choose the Esybox for larger homes with higher simultaneous demand; the Mini3 for 1–3 bathroom properties where 50 l/min is sufficient.
How does the WiFi and voice control work?
The DAB Esybox connects to the H2D app via built-in WiFi for remote pressure monitoring, adjustment, and fault alerts. It also integrates with Google Home and Amazon Alexa — say “Hey Google, power shower” to boost pressure, or “Hey Google, sleep mode” to quieten it at night.
Is there an Esybox coffin system in a smaller size?
Yes — the WB-Coffin 320 Esybox (£1,069 + VAT) uses the same pump in a 320-litre coffin tank at 500mm height. If 50 l/min is sufficient, the WB-Coffin 450 Mini3 (£835 + VAT) delivers 50 l/min in the same 450L coffin format at a lower price.
What warranty is included?
3 years DAB manufacturer warranty on the Esybox pump when purchased from Anglian Pumping Services.
Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.
Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.

What is a mains pressure boosting system?
A mains pressure boosting system increases the pressure and flow of water from the incoming mains supply into a property. It typically combines a pump and a storage or expansion tank, drawing water from the mains and delivering it to taps, showers and appliances at a stronger, more consistent pressure. They are used where the incoming mains is too weak to serve modern outlets reliably.
When do I need a mains booster pump?
You normally need a mains booster if static mains pressure is below 1.5 to 2 bar, if showers run weakly when other taps are open, or if combi boilers struggle to deliver hot water. Anglian Pumping recommends checking static pressure at the stop tap before specifying a system, then choosing a model rated for the number of bathrooms and outlets in the property.
What size mains booster do I need for my home?
Sizing depends on the number of bathrooms, the type of fittings and the static mains pressure. As a guide, a 1 to 2 bathroom property with combi boiler or single shower often needs 1.6 to 3 bar boost. A 2 to 3 bathroom property typically needs 3 to 4.5 bar with an integral break tank. Larger homes need a tank-and-pump system such as the DAB Esybox with Esytank or a Powertank set.
What is a water booster pump?
A water booster pump increases the pressure of an existing water supply to give stronger flow at taps, showers and appliances. It can be a small inline pump fitted to the incoming mains, or a larger pump and tank set that draws from a break tank to feed the whole house. Boosters do not create water – they raise the pressure of the water already coming in.
What is the difference between an inline booster and a tank-and-pump booster?
An inline booster connects straight onto the incoming mains and is limited to 12 litres per minute under UK water regulations – examples include the Salamander HomeBoost and WaterBoost WB-Compact. A tank-and-pump booster, such as the Grundfos Home Booster or DAB Esybox with Esytank, draws from a break tank and can deliver much higher flow rates for larger homes with multiple bathrooms.
What is a variable speed booster pump?
A variable speed booster uses an inverter to adjust pump speed in real time to match demand. It maintains constant pressure as outlets open and close, runs more quietly than a fixed-speed pump and typically saves up to 50 per cent of the energy a fixed-speed equivalent would use.
