System overview

The DAB Esybox with Esytank is a complete, ready-to-install water pressure boosting system combining DAB’s flagship variable speed booster pump with a 480-litre drinking water storage tank. Designed for domestic and light commercial properties where mains pressure is insufficient or where direct mains connection is not permitted.

The Esybox pump intelligently adjusts its speed to match demand, delivering constant pressure to every outlet while using up to 50% less energy than fixed-speed alternatives. The Esytank stores water from the mains during low-demand periods, ensuring a reliable supply even when mains flow is restricted.

Both components are supplied with everything needed for installation, including Esydock, suction pipe with foot valve, and delivery pipe. The Esybox pump is WRAS approved for potable water. Backed by a 3-year DAB manufacturer warranty.

!The Esybox pump cannot connect directly to the mains. The Esytank must be supplied from the mains water inlet (max 6 bar) with the pump drawing from the tank storage.

How much does the system cost and how is it delivered?

£1,380.00 + VAT (£1,656.00 inc VAT). Standard delivery is £50.00 + VAT and includes next working day delivery when ordered before 1pm on a working day. Both the Esybox pump and the complete Esytank with all accessories are included.

What’s actually included in the box?

The system ships complete and ready to install. You receive the DAB Esybox booster pump, the Esytank 480-litre storage tank, an Esydock docking station, suction pipe with foot valve, delivery pipe, mains fill float valve, and overflow fitting. No additional fittings are required to get the system running.

Why do I need a tank — can’t I just use the pump on its own?

The Esybox pump cannot connect directly to the mains — regulations require a break tank in between. But the Esytank does more than just comply: it stores up to 480 litres, meaning the system can deliver high flow rates even if your mains supply is slow or intermittent. It fills gradually from the mains and delivers on demand, so you never run short during peak usage. If your mains pressure and flow are already adequate and you only need boosting, contact us for advice on a pump-only solution.

Where can I install it?

The system is designed for indoor fixed installation — typically a utility room, cellar, garage, or plant room. The tank dimensions are specifically designed to fit through standard cellar doorways. The four base slots allow secure floor fixing. The Esybox pump runs at 43 dB(A) making it suitable even in spaces close to living areas. Outdoor installation requires the optional DAB Esycover kit.

Is 480 litres enough for my property?

For most domestic properties and light commercial use, 480 litres is sufficient provided the mains supply refills the tank between peak demand periods. If you need more capacity, the Esytank has a modular design — auxiliary tanks can be connected on any of three sides to expand storage. Is the pump WRAS approved for drinking water?

The Esybox pump is WRAS approved, confirming it is safe and legal for use with potable (drinking) water supplies in the UK. The Esytank is manufactured from food-grade HDPE and is suitable for drinking water storage, but does not hold its own WRAS approval.

What warranty is included?

3 years manufacturer warranty direct from DAB when purchased from Anglian Pumping Services, an authorised DAB distributor.

Does the Esybox have WiFi and remote monitoring?

Yes — the Esybox has built-in WiFi and connects to the DAB H2D app for remote monitoring, pressure adjustment, and fault alerts. It also works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa — say “Hey Google, power shower” to boost pressure or “Hey Google, sleep mode” to quieten it overnight.

How easy is maintenance?

The Esytank has a top-mounted inspection lid for routine tank inspection and cleaning. The Esybox pump docks and undocks from the Esydock station without tools, making servicing straightforward. Fault history is logged in the H2D app so any issues can be diagnosed remotely.

Can I expand the system in future?

Yes. The system is fully modular. Additional Esytank auxiliary cisterns can be coupled on any of three sides to increase storage. For higher flow demand, up to 4 Esybox pumps can be connected wirelessly and will share the load automatically. Contact us to discuss expansion options.

Standard delivery:

Standard delivery is free for all orders except for some low cost/low margin items where standard delivery is £6.75. Some difficult to transport goods also have a varying carriage charge applied.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:

Next working day delivery is available for a £15.00 + vat delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
