The Baseflex expansion vessel is intended for use on sealed heating and chilled systems.

When the temperature in the installation rises, the system water will expand. The ‘expansion water’ is stored temporarily in the expansion vessel to keep the pressure in the installation at the correct level. Each vessel is factory tested.

The thread of the system connection is uncoated, ensuring problem free connection.The fixed bag-type diaphragm prevents the water to come in contact with the bare steel of the vessel.Nitrogen gas filling for longer maintenance of pre-pressure.

Maximum working pressure: 6.0 bar.

Red (RAL 3002) epoxy powder coating.

Vessels in accordance with EN13831.

Suitable for systems with a maximum system temperature of 120 °C.Min. / max. temperature diaphragm: -10 / 70 °C.

Diaphragm: EPDM.All welded construction.

Zinc plated flange.

Suitable for addition of glycol-based anti-freeze up to 50%.

Suitable for addition of ethanol-based anti-freeze up to 30%.

In accordance with Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.

Baseflex 35 – 80: Standard equipped with legs.

Delivery Information

Standard delivery:

Standard delivery is free for all orders except for some low cost/low margin items where standard delivery is £6.75. Some difficult to transport goods also have a varying carriage charge applied.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:

Next working day delivery is available for a £15.00 + vat delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
