Evak Agivort Range
Evak Agivort 5.20 1.5kW 2″ Slurry Pump 400V
- Established 1975
- Trusted by thousands of customers
The Evak Agivort 5.20 (400V) is the heavy-duty tier of the Agivort slurry range on a three-phase supply. 1.5 kW / 2 HP motor, 2″ discharge, 650 L/min and 18 m of head, with the construction to match: full FC200 cast iron motor cover and stainless steel handle in place of the nylon parts on the smaller models.
Built for water other pumps can’t shift — sludge, slurry, sediment-laden site water. The 316 stainless steel agitator stirs settled solids back into suspension and the vortex impeller passes them through without clogging. Manual operation — no float switch fitted — for use with a control panel or operator switching. 10 m cable.

More about this product
The Evak Agivort 5.20 (400V) is the three-phase version of the heavy-duty Agivort. Hydraulically identical to the 230V model — 1.5 kW / 2 HP, 650 L/min, 18 m head, 2″ discharge — but on a 400V three-phase motor with no capacitor and no float, supplied manual for installations controlled from a panel or by an operator. On a site with three-phase available this is the better motor: balanced load, lower running current and nothing to fail in the start circuit.
The Agivort name comes from Agitator + Vortex — the two features that define the pump. Solids in slurry settle and pack down at the bottom of a sump or excavation, and a standard sewage pump takes the clear water off the top and leaves the sludge behind. The Agivort’s 316 stainless steel agitator stirs that settled material back into suspension, and the vortex impeller passes it through without clogging, so the pump keeps shifting solids long after a standard pump would have stalled.
FC200 cast iron pump body, heavy-grade 304 stainless steel motor housing, and — unlike the 5.05 and 5.10 — a cast iron motor cover with SS41 stainless steel handle. Double mechanical seal in an oil chamber with an NBR oil seal, 10 m H07RN-F cable. At 33 kg it’s a two-person lift or a hoist job.

What is a submersible pump?
A submersible pump is designed to operate fully submerged in the liquid it is moving. The motor is sealed inside the pump body and cooled by the surrounding water. Submersibles are used for drainage, sewage, septic tanks, deep wells and boreholes, and for raising water from sumps, cellars and floodwater. Many stocked at Anglian Pumping handle solids in suspension.
Can submersible pumps handle solids and sewage?
Yes – some submersibles are designed for clean water only, others handle solids up to 50 mm or full raw sewage. Anglian Pumping stocks ABS, BBC, Flygt and T-T Submersibles ranges that include vortex, single channel and grinder impellers for different solids handling requirements. Always match the pump to the maximum solid size and the type of effluent it will see.
When should I use a submersible pump instead of a surface pump?
Use a submersible when the water level is more than around 8 metres below the pump installation point – surface pumps cannot self-prime beyond that depth. Submersibles are also better when the liquid contains solids, when noise must be minimised, or when the pump needs to operate in confined spaces such as sumps and chambers where a surface pump would not fit.
