Accumulators — The solution for low water flow
Water pressure and flow can fluctuate throughout the day, particularly during peak times in the morning and evening when demand is highest. Even if your mains pressure is sufficient, long pipe runs or shared supplies can significantly reduce the flow by the time water reaches your taps, showers and appliances.
The WaterBoost AWBH-150LH stores pressurised water at the point of use, ready to deliver an immediate high-flow burst the moment you open a tap — without waiting for the mains to catch up. The horizontal design makes it ideal where headroom is limited, fitting neatly in a cupboard, loft or plant room on its side.
How it works
The vessel stores 90 litres of water under pressure. When a tap or shower opens, the internal diaphragm pushes stored water out at full flow. The vessel then recharges automatically from the mains supply. With a 60% draw ratio, the AWBH-150LH delivers up to 90 litres of usable water per cycle — enough to run a single shower at 12 L/min for 7.5 minutes.
Which size do I need?
- 1–2 bedroom home: 60, 100 or 150 litre
- 2–3 bedroom home: 150, 200 or 250 litre
- 3+ bedrooms: 250 or 300 litre
To calculate usable volume: vessel size × 0.6 = usable litres.
Do I need a booster pump too?
If your mains static (resting) pressure is above 2 bar, the accumulator will work effectively on mains pressure alone. If your pressure is below 2 bar, we recommend pairing the AWBH-150LH with the WaterBoost ACF1 booster pump, which pre-charges the vessel above mains pressure — significantly improving both pressure and flow throughout your home.

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free for all orders except for some low cost/low margin items where standard delivery is £6.75. Some difficult to transport goods also have a varying carriage charge applied.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £15.00 + vat delivery charge.
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
