Ebara CDXH stainless steel centrifugal pumps with the H high-temperature mechanical seal. The proven Ebara CDX single-stage, end-suction pump in pressed AISI 304 stainless steel, built with Ebara's optional H seal — FPM (Viton) elastomers and a 110°C rating in place of the standard NBR seal's 90°C. Same hydraulics as the standard CDX range: heads to 41 m and flows to 250 l/min, in 230v single-phase and 400v three-phase IE3 versions.

The H seal

Higher temperature rating

H seal rated to 110°C fluid temperature, against 90°C for the standard CDX seal.

FPM (Viton) elastomers

FPM O-rings on the seal and casing resist oils, fuels and many chemicals that attack NBR.

Ceramic / carbon faces

Ceramic rotary against carbon graphite stationary face, AISI 316 spring.

All-stainless wetted parts

Pressed AISI 304 casing, impeller and cover; AISI 303 shaft; IP55 Class F motor.

Hot water note: Ebara rate the H seal to 110°C, but where the pumped fluid is water they recommend a maximum of 75°C with FPM elastomers for the longest seal life. For continuous hot water above 75°C, ask us about the E-seal (EPDM) version, rated to 120°C.

FAQ

How do I choose a size?

The first number is the hydraulic frame (70, 90, 120, 200) — higher means more flow. The second is the head class — higher means more pressure. Check the maximum head and flow columns above, or open any model for its full performance table.

Single or three phase?

Single-phase 230v models have a built-in capacitor and thermal overload. Three-phase 400v models are IE3 and need a starter or motor protection device fitted by the installer.

Is it suitable for hot water?

On water, Ebara recommend a maximum of 75°C with FPM elastomers for the longest seal life. For continuous water above 75°C, ask us about the EPDM E-seal version rated to 120°C.

Is the CDX self-priming?

No. It needs a flooded suction, or a foot valve with the casing primed before start-up.
