Now supplied as the DAB Divertron 900 X
The DAB Divertron 1200 X has been replaced by the new energy-efficient Divertron 900 X as part of DAB’s updated (green-bodied) Divertron range. If you order this product, we’ll supply the new Divertron 900 X as a direct replacement — same 1″ pipe connection, same KIT X floating suction kit compatibility, comparable performance, more efficient motor for lower running costs.
The DAB Divertron 1200 X was the sediment-tolerant variant in DAB’s original Divertron range — a submersible multi-impeller booster pump configured with a closed inlet base for use with the KIT X floating suction kit. The kit drew water from just below the surface of the source, well above any sediment layer at the base.
It has now been discontinued and replaced by the new green-bodied Divertron 900 X, which uses a more efficient motor for the same duty. The information below covers the original 1200 X for reference; orders against this listing will be fulfilled with the new Divertron 900 X model.
What the 1200 X was used for
Two-storey domestic feeds and longer pipe runs from rainwater tanks with sediment at the base. Wells with sand or organic debris where higher pressure was also needed. Combined the X-range’s sediment-tolerant inlet with the higher-pressure 1200 motor — for installations that needed both clean water draw and firmer pressure.
All these applications are covered by the new Divertron 900 X with the same suitability — and lower running costs.

Why the new Divertron 900 X is the right replacement
If you have an existing Divertron 1200 X installed and need a like-for-like replacement, the new Divertron 900 X is the direct successor. It uses the same closed inlet base, the same 1″ threaded discharge, and works with the same KIT X floating suction kit.

Frequently asked questions
Will my existing KIT X work with the new Divertron 900 X?
Yes. Both the old 1200 X and the new Divertron 900 X use the same 1″ female threaded inlet and are designed for use with the standard DAB KIT X floating suction kit. If your existing kit is in good condition, you can keep using it. If the float, hose or strainer have aged in service, ask us about a replacement KIT X when you order.
Will the new Divertron 900 X fit where my existing 1200 X sat?
Yes, in the vast majority of installations. Both pumps share the same 1″ threaded discharge, the same closed inlet base and a similar physical envelope, so existing pipework, brackets, supports and your KIT X will accept the new model. If your installation is unusual or tightly fitted, send us a couple of photos and measurements and we’ll confirm.
Is performance the same?
For most domestic and garden duties, the new Divertron 900 X covers the same applications as the 1200 X. The new motor is more efficient, delivering comparable real-world performance with lower energy use. If your installation pushed the limits of the 1200 X, get in touch and we’ll recommend the right replacement.
Can I still get spare parts for the 1200 X?
Some service parts may still be available through DAB. Get in touch with the part you need and we’ll check current availability — but for most enquiries, replacement with the new Divertron 900 X is more cost-effective than repair.
How quickly can I get one?
In stock for dispatch within 3–4 working days on standard delivery. Next working day delivery is available for orders placed before 12 noon.

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.
Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Pallet/Large/Difficult items:
Some large, heavy or difficult to transport items may incur an additional delivery charge. Please contact us for a delivery quote before ordering.
