The Ebara EVMS-K3 11N5 Q1BEG E/1.1 MT is an 11-stage AISI 304 stainless steel vertical multistage pump with a 1.1 kW IE3 motor, an on-board E-SPD+ variable speed inverter and a pressure transducer. It runs from a standard 230 V single-phase supply, holds a constant set pressure as demand changes and delivers high head at low flow, making it a compact, ready-to-wire choice for high-pressure boosting on sites without three-phase power.
Supplied with G1″ oval flange connections, a Q1BEG cartridge seal rated to 16 bar and EPDM elastomers, for a 230 V single-phase supply.

Ebara EVMS-K3 11N5 Q1BEG E/1.1 MT Overview
The EVMS-K3 11N5 MT is an 11-stage, 1.1 kW single-phase model in the EVMS-K3 range, Ebara’s 3 m³/h nominal-flow vertical multistage pump supplied complete with inverter control. The E-SPD+ MT unit is mounted on the motor terminal box and takes a 230 V single-phase supply, converting it to a 230 V three-phase output for the motor. The pressure transducer comes electrically connected. The inverter starts, stops and modulates motor speed to hold the set pressure, giving steadier supply, lower energy use and longer service life than fixed-speed operation.
Hydraulic parts are EN 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel, with a tungsten carbide shaft sleeve bearing and a Q1BEG cartridge mechanical seal. A 1.1 kW IE3 two-pole motor drives it, and the G1″ oval flange inlet and outlet sit in-line at the base for straightforward pipework. With around 81 m of head at shut-off and flows up to 4.5 m³/h, it suits high-head, low-flow duties such as high-rise building boosting, high-pressure washing and process supply, and long or elevated supply runs, on sites where three-phase power isn’t available.

What is a water booster pump?
A water booster pump increases the pressure of an existing water supply to give stronger flow at taps, showers and appliances. It can be a small inline pump fitted to the incoming mains, or a larger pump and tank set that draws from a break tank to feed the whole house. Boosters do not create water – they raise the pressure of the water already coming in.
What is the difference between an inline booster and a tank-and-pump booster?
An inline booster connects straight onto the incoming mains and is limited to 12 litres per minute under UK water regulations – examples include the Salamander HomeBoost and WaterBoost WB-Compact. A tank-and-pump booster, such as the Grundfos Home Booster or DAB Esybox with Esytank, draws from a break tank and can deliver much higher flow rates for larger homes with multiple bathrooms.
What is a variable speed booster pump?
A variable speed booster uses an inverter to adjust pump speed in real time to match demand. It maintains constant pressure as outlets open and close, runs more quietly than a fixed-speed pump and typically saves up to 50 per cent of the energy a fixed-speed equivalent would use. The DAB Esybox, DAB Esybox Mini 3 and Grundfos Scala2 are common variable speed examples.
