- Trusted by thousands of customers
The Ebara 1GPE MATRIX 3-6T/0.9 ESPT is a compact single-pump variable speed booster set. A six-stage Matrix 3 horizontal multistage pump in AISI 304 stainless steel is driven by a 0.9 kW IE3 motor with a motor-mounted E-SPD+ inverter, pressure transmitter, five-way check valve, 2-litre membrane vessel and pressure gauge.
The drive holds a constant set pressure as demand changes, from 1.2 m³/h up to 4.8 m³/h. It runs from a 400 V three-phase supply and connects through a G1 suction and a G1 discharge.

Ebara 1GPE MATRIX 3-6T/0.9 ESPT Overview
The 1GPE MATRIX 3-6T/0.9 ESPT is the six-stage, 0.9 kW model in Ebara’s one-pump Matrix 3 GPE booster range, for a 400 V three-phase supply. The E-SPD+ inverter, 4–20 mA pressure transmitter, five-way check valve, 2-litre membrane vessel and gauge are all built onto the pump, so it installs like a single pump with one suction and one discharge connection.
The E-SPD+ changes pump speed to hold a constant set pressure, so the set runs only as fast as demand needs. That gives steadier pressure, lower energy use and less wear than a fixed-speed pump with a pressure switch. It delivers from 1.2 m³/h up to 4.8 m³/h, with around 67.8 m of head at shut-off. It suits small buildings, flats, garden irrigation and washdown where a 400 V three-phase supply is available.

What is a water booster pump?
A water booster pump increases the pressure of an existing water supply to give stronger flow at taps, showers and appliances. It can be a small inline pump fitted to the incoming mains, or a larger pump and tank set that draws from a break tank to feed the whole house. Boosters do not create water – they raise the pressure of the water already coming in.
What is the difference between an inline booster and a tank-and-pump booster?
An inline booster connects straight onto the incoming mains and is limited to 12 litres per minute under UK water regulations – examples include the Salamander HomeBoost and WaterBoost WB-Compact. A tank-and-pump booster, such as the Grundfos Home Booster or DAB Esybox with Esytank, draws from a break tank and can deliver much higher flow rates for larger homes with multiple bathrooms.
What is a variable speed booster pump?
A variable speed booster uses an inverter to adjust pump speed in real time to match demand. It maintains constant pressure as outlets open and close, runs more quietly than a fixed-speed pump and typically saves up to 50 per cent of the energy a fixed-speed equivalent would use. The DAB Esybox, DAB Esybox Mini 3 and Grundfos Scala2 are common variable speed examples.
