WaterBoost Engineered
WaterBoost QuietPad – Engineered anti-vibration shower pump mat
- Established 1975
- Trusted by thousands of customers
A precision 3D-printed lattice tuned to flex, shear and silence pump vibration before it reaches your floor.
The anti-vibration pad, reinvented. Where a foam slab can only squash, the QuietPad’s engineered lattice absorbs vibration across its whole structure — so your shower or booster pump runs noticeably quieter and your pipework takes less of a beating. Four flexible feet break the path that lets noise travel into floors and walls.

A precision 3D-printed lattice tuned to flex, shear and silence pump vibration before it reaches your floor.
WaterBoost QuietPad
The anti-vibration pad, reinvented. For decades the answer to a noisy pump has been the same: a flat slab of foam or rubber that simply squashes under the load. The QuietPad throws that out. At its heart is a precision 3D-printed lattice — an engineered open-cell geometry designed to flex, shear and absorb vibration across its entire structure, not just compress at the point of contact.
Paired with four flexible decoupling feet, it breaks the path that lets pump noise travel into your floors and walls — delivering a level of vibration control a moulded foam pad simply can’t reach. Designed and manufactured in-house using additive manufacturing, every QuietPad is built from the structure up to do one job better than anything that came before it.
Engineered, not moulded
A traditional anti-vibration pad is limited by its material — a block of foam can only do one thing, and it does it the same way everywhere. The QuietPad is different because its performance comes from geometry, not just material. Every cell of the lattice is positioned to manage load and vibration deliberately: stiffer where the pump bears down, more compliant where energy needs to be absorbed.
That’s only possible with additive manufacturing. There’s no mould, no compromise — the structure is printed exactly as designed, and refined through real-world testing rather than whatever a foam supplier happens to stock. It’s a smarter approach to an old problem, and the reason the QuietPad outperforms the slab it replaces.
How it works
Why it matters
Shower and booster pumps are a common source of structure-borne noise — the kind that carries through floors, walls and airing-cupboard partitions long after you’ve left the room. By isolating the pump from the surface it stands on, the QuietPad reduces that transmitted noise, eases the constant micro-vibration that loosens fittings and fatigues flexible hoses over time, and gives a tidier, more professional-looking install.
