The EVAK Trenchman 750 (110V) is the mid-range agitator-equipped contractor drainage pump in the Trenchman family – delivering meaningfully more flow and head than the 400 while remaining portable at 16kg. A sintered SMF5030 agitator keeps sediment in suspension while pumping, so the Trenchman keeps working where a conventional drainage pump would clog. Overview
The EVAK Trenchman 750 (110V) is the mid-range submersible contractor drainage pump in the Trenchman family – designed for arduous trench dewatering and site drainage in silty, gritty water. A sintered SMF5030 agitator sits below the impeller and keeps sediment in suspension while pumping – so the Trenchman keeps moving water where a conventional drainage pump would settle solids and choke. The 110V version is intended for site use via a transformer, making it well suited to construction sites, hire fleets and dewatering duties on 110V-only sites where more flow and head than the Trenchman 400 are required. Auto operation with float switch is fitted as standard; manual variants are available on request.
When to Choose the 750 Over the 400
The 750 delivers meaningfully more flow and head than the 400, against a modest weight increase (16kg vs 13.5kg). Choose the 750 where the 400’s 220 l/min and 12m head aren’t enough – typically larger sites, longer hose runs, or where the pump needs to lift water further.
For smaller sumps and lighter duties, the Trenchman 400 is usually sufficient.

Applications
Larger arduous trench dewatering, construction site drainage in silty or gritty water, foundation and excavation work, contractor hire fleet duties, and any site where a conventional drainage pump would clog with sediment and the smaller Trenchman 400 lacks capacity. The 110V version runs from a site-safety transformer, making it well suited to construction sites and hire fleets rather than domestic mains.
FAQs
The sintered SMF5030 agitator sits below the impeller and mechanically disturbs settled sediment at the base of the sump, keeping silt and small solids suspended in the water column so they get pumped away rather than accumulating and blocking the pump inlet.
110V is the standard site-safety voltage in the UK, run via a transformer – suited to construction sites and hire fleet use rather than domestic mains.
Not on the 110V variant. The 3″ discharge option is only available on the 230V Trenchman 750 and 1500. This 110V variant is supplied with the standard 2″ BSP female discharge.
The Trenchman 1500 delivers around 700 l/min and 20m head but is 230V only – not available in 110V. If you need higher flow than the 750 can provide on a 110V site, the alternative is the EVAK Drainox 1500 (also 230V only) or moving to a mains-powered supply.

Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.
Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.

What is a submersible pump?
A submersible pump is designed to operate fully submerged in the liquid it is moving. The motor is sealed inside the pump body and cooled by the surrounding water. Submersibles are used for drainage, sewage, septic tanks, deep wells and boreholes, and for raising water from sumps, cellars and floodwater. Many stocked at Anglian Pumping handle solids in suspension.
Can submersible pumps handle solids and sewage?
Yes – some submersibles are designed for clean water only, others handle solids up to 50 mm or full raw sewage. Anglian Pumping stocks ABS, BBC, Flygt and T-T Submersibles ranges that include vortex, single channel and grinder impellers for different solids handling requirements. Always match the pump to the maximum solid size and the type of effluent it will see.
When should I use a submersible pump instead of a surface pump?
Use a submersible when the water level is more than around 8 metres below the pump installation point – surface pumps cannot self-prime beyond that depth. Submersibles are also better when the liquid contains solids, when noise must be minimised, or when the pump needs to operate in confined spaces such as sumps and chambers where a surface pump would not fit.
