Evak Agivort Range
Evak Agivort 5.10 0.75kW 2″ Slurry Pump 230V
- Established 1975
- Trusted by thousands of customers
The Evak Agivort 5.10 (230V) is the mid-size single-phase pump in the Agivort slurry range — the one most hire fleets and contractors standardise on. 0.75 kW / 1 HP motor, 2″ discharge, FC200 cast iron pump body with 316 stainless steel agitator and vortex impeller. Same portable build as the 5.05 with half as much flow again and 12.5 m of head.
Built for water other pumps can’t shift — sludge, slurry, sediment-laden site water. The agitator stirs settled solids back into suspension and the vortex impeller passes them through without clogging. Internal capacitor, auto float switch included, 10 m cable.

More about this product
The Evak Agivort 5.10 (230V) is the mid-size single-phase pump in the Agivort submersible slurry range — the model most hire fleets and groundworks contractors standardise on. It keeps the compact, portable build of the 5.05 but steps the motor up to 0.75 kW / 1 HP, giving 460 L/min and 12.5 m of head: enough to clear a flooded excavation or empty a settlement tank at a working pace rather than a trickle.
The Agivort name comes from Agitator + Vortex — the two features that define the pump. Solids in slurry settle and pack down at the bottom of a sump or excavation, and a standard sewage pump takes the clear water off the top and leaves the sludge behind. The Agivort’s 316 stainless steel agitator stirs that settled material back into suspension, and the vortex impeller passes it through without clogging, so the pump keeps shifting solids long after a standard pump would have stalled.
The pump body is FC200 cast iron with a heavy-grade 304 stainless steel motor housing. Motor cover and handle are Nylon 6 — the lightweight build shared with the 5.05; the 5.20 and 5.50 step up to a cast iron motor cover and stainless handle. Double mechanical seal in an oil chamber with an NBR oil seal, internal capacitor so no external starter box is needed, integrated float switch and 10 m H07RN-F cable. At 18 kg it’s still a one-person lift.

What is a submersible pump?
A submersible pump is designed to operate fully submerged in the liquid it is moving. The motor is sealed inside the pump body and cooled by the surrounding water. Submersibles are used for drainage, sewage, septic tanks, deep wells and boreholes, and for raising water from sumps, cellars and floodwater. Many stocked at Anglian Pumping handle solids in suspension.
Can submersible pumps handle solids and sewage?
Yes – some submersibles are designed for clean water only, others handle solids up to 50 mm or full raw sewage. Anglian Pumping stocks ABS, BBC, Flygt and T-T Submersibles ranges that include vortex, single channel and grinder impellers for different solids handling requirements. Always match the pump to the maximum solid size and the type of effluent it will see.
When should I use a submersible pump instead of a surface pump?
Use a submersible when the water level is more than around 8 metres below the pump installation point – surface pumps cannot self-prime beyond that depth. Submersibles are also better when the liquid contains solids, when noise must be minimised, or when the pump needs to operate in confined spaces such as sumps and chambers where a surface pump would not fit.
