The Lowara NSCS 125-200/55/P45VCC4 (703741051) is an end-suction centrifugal pump from the Lowara e-NSC range, close-coupled with stub shaft and rigid coupling, with a cast iron casing, cast iron impeller and a 5.5 kW 4-pole motor (~1450 rpm) for a 400 V three-phase supply. It delivers up to 248 m³/h (69 l/s) and up to 8.6 m of head.

A rigid coupling joins the pump shaft to a standard motor shaft extension. Back pull-out design lets the motor, adapter and impeller come out without disturbing the pipework. DN125 flanged discharge and a silicon carbide/carbon/EPDM mechanical seal, for clean water in heating, cooling, water supply and industrial process systems.

What are centrifugal pumps used for?

Centrifugal pumps use a rotating impeller to move liquids and are commonly used for water transfer, circulation and industrial processes.

How do I choose a centrifugal pump?

Compare the required flow rate, total head, liquid characteristics and electrical supply with each pump’s performance curve.

Are centrifugal pumps suitable for dirty water?

Some are designed for clean water only, while others handle solids or wastewater. Check the particular pump’s permitted liquid and solids specification.
