FAQs

How much water will it pump?

Up to 70 l/min (4.2 m³/h) with 30 m of head, or up to 52.9 m of head at low flow. Actual flow depends on the suction lift and pipework.

Can it lift water from a well or tank below it?

Yes — it is self-priming and can lift from up to 8 m below the pump with a clean 1¼″ suction pipe and foot valve.

Is it suitable for drinking water?

BG pumps are used for domestic water supply. Ask us if you need a specific approval for your installation.

Do I need a pressure switch or controller?

For automatic boosting, pair it with a pressure switch and vessel, or a Lowara Genyo flow switch.
