The Pedrollo PQ 300 is a 2.2 kW (3 HP) peripheral pump on a 400 V three-phase supply, delivering up to 90 l/min and 95 m head. Peripheral impeller pumps give high pressure from a small, simple pump.

Part of Pedrollo’s PQ range, for small pressure sets, transfer and washing where pressure matters more than flow.

Product overview

The Pedrollo PQ 300 is a 2.2 kW (3 HP) peripheral pump on a 400 V three-phase supply, covering 5 to 90 l/min with a working head of 95 m down to 10 m. The peripheral (turbine) impeller builds pressure in a single stage, so the pump is compact and simple.

PQ pumps suit small domestic pressure sets, boiler feed, transfer and washing duties with clean water, and the Bs (brass body) and PPS versions extend the range to liquids that would attack cast iron. Install indoors or under cover.

Frequently asked questions

Is it self-priming?

No. It needs a flooded suction or a foot valve. The PKS range is the self-priming peripheral pump.

What is the Bs version?

The same pump with a brass body instead of cast iron, for softened water and liquids that would corrode cast iron.

What is the PPS version?

A pump body in PPS technopolymer with threaded brass inserts instead of cast iron, with the same brass impeller.

What water can it handle?

Clean water without abrasive particles; peripheral impellers have tight clearances and do not tolerate grit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about the Pedrollo PQ 300 Three Phase 2100450. For technical specifications, see the product details above; for sizing or installation advice, contact our team. If you have any other questions, we're happy to help.

What is a peripheral pump?

A peripheral pump uses a small impeller and peripheral channel to generate relatively high pressure at modest flow rates.

What applications suit peripheral pumps?

They are commonly used for clean-water transfer and pressure applications where high head and comparatively low flow are required.

Can peripheral pumps handle abrasive liquids?

Generally they are intended for clean, non-abrasive liquids. Check the specific pump’s permitted liquid properties before use.
