Product overview

The Pedrollo F4-40/160A is a 0.55 kW (0.75 HP) single-impeller centrifugal pump on a 400 V three-phase supply, built to EN 733 dimensions with flanged suction and delivery and a 4-pole motor running at 1,450 rpm. It covers 50 to 350 l/min with a working head of 9 m down to 4.5 m.

Running at half the speed of the 2-pole F range makes the F4 noticeably quieter, gentler on seals and bearings, and better able to draw from a low suction head. It suits circulation in heating and cooling plant, water transfer and process duties where high flow at modest head is wanted without the noise of a 2-pole pump. Install indoors or under cover.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose the F4 over the F?

Lower speed means less noise, longer seal and bearing life and a lower NPSH requirement, so it copes better with poor suction conditions. The trade-off is lower head for the same pump size.

What does EN 733 mean?

EN 733 (formerly DIN 24255) sets the dimensions and flange sizes of standardised centrifugal pumps, so the F4 fits the same pipework as any other EN 733 pump of that size.

Are the flanges included?

No. Counter flanges, nuts, bolts and gaskets are available separately — ask us when ordering.

What is the -I version?

The same pump with the body cast in AISI 316 stainless steel and a stainless impeller, for aggressive, treated or sea water.

Delivery Information

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
