- Established 1975
- Trusted by thousands of customers
The Pedrollo TOP MULTI-EVOTECH 3 is a single-phase 230 V automatic multi-stage submersible pump for clean water, delivering up to 120 l/min and a maximum head of 30.5 m from a 0.55 kW (0.75 HP) motor.
Its built-in electronic device starts the pump when a tap opens and system pressure falls below 1.5 bar, and stops it when flow falls below 3 l/min. It protects against dry running and runs the pump for 10 seconds every 48 hours after long idle periods to prevent blockages. 10 m power cable, with 1¼″ suction and delivery ports.
More about this product
Product overview
The Pedrollo TOP MULTI-EVOTECH 3 is a single-phase 230 V automatic multi-stage submersible pump for clean water free from abrasive particles. It covers 10 to 120 l/min with a working head of 30 m down to 4.5 m, and a maximum head of 30.5 m. It has 3 stages and a 0.55 kW (0.75 HP) motor drawing 3.6 A.
Pedrollo design it for domestic applications involving tanks, reservoirs and deep wells, and for collecting rainwater from water tanks for manual watering or irrigation systems.
The internal electronic device starts the pump when system pressure falls below 1.5 bar, for example when a tap opens, and stops it when flow falls below 3 l/min. It protects the pump against dry running, and after long periods of inactivity it runs the pump for 10 seconds every 48 hours to prevent blockages. The motor has thermal protection integrated in the winding, Class F insulation, IP X8 protection and a continuous S1 duty rating. Pedrollo specify a 1 SF 1 litre tank with a precharge of 1.2 bar to avoid frequent restarts and save energy.

Frequently asked questions
Is it single-phase?
Yes. It runs on single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz and draws 3.6 A.
How deep can it go?
Up to 5 m below water level.
What flow and head does it give?
10 to 120 l/min, with 30 m head at 10 l/min and a maximum head of 30.5 m.
How does the automatic control work?
The electronic device starts the pump when a tap opens and system pressure falls below 1.5 bar, and stops it when flow falls below 3 l/min.
Do I need a pressure tank?
Yes. Pedrollo specify a 1 SF 1 litre tank precharged to 1.2 bar to avoid frequent restarts and save energy.
What is the KGE kit?
A floating suction kit, available separately, that draws water about 10 cm below the surface to avoid floating debris and sediment. It includes a 1.5 m Ø 30 mm PVC spiral hose, a stainless steel suction filter, a polyethylene float and Ø 30 mm hose fittings.

What is a submersible pump?
A submersible pump is designed to operate fully submerged in the liquid it is moving. The motor is sealed inside the pump body and cooled by the surrounding water. Submersibles are used for drainage, sewage, septic tanks, deep wells and boreholes, and for raising water from sumps, cellars and floodwater. Many stocked at Anglian Pumping handle solids in suspension.
Can submersible pumps handle solids and sewage?
Yes – some submersibles are designed for clean water only, others handle solids up to 50 mm or full raw sewage. Anglian Pumping stocks ABS, BBC, Flygt and T-T Submersibles ranges that include vortex, single channel and grinder impellers for different solids handling requirements. Always match the pump to the maximum solid size and the type of effluent it will see.
When should I use a submersible pump instead of a surface pump?
Use a submersible when the water level is more than around 8 metres below the pump installation point – surface pumps cannot self-prime beyond that depth. Submersibles are also better when the liquid contains solids, when noise must be minimised, or when the pump needs to operate in confined spaces such as sumps and chambers where a surface pump would not fit.
