The Pedrollo NGAm 2A is a 1.1 kW (1.5 HP) open-impeller centrifugal pump on a 230 V single-phase supply, moving up to 550 l/min at up to 10.8 m head. The open AISI 316 stainless impeller passes water carrying light solids that would block a closed impeller.

Product overview

The Pedrollo NGAm 2A is a 1.1 kW (1.5 HP) centrifugal pump with an open impeller, on a 230 V single-phase supply. It covers 50 to 550 l/min with a working head of 10.8 m down to 4 m.

The open impeller lets the NGA handle water with a small amount of suspended solids and fibres, so it is used where a standard closed-impeller pump would clog: drawing from canals, rivers and reservoirs, fish farming, wash-down and transfer of slightly dirty water in industry and agriculture. Install indoors or under cover.

Frequently asked questions

What solids can it pass?

The open impeller handles water with a small amount of suspended solids and fibres, such as river or pond water. It is not a sewage or vortex pump; for heavy solids look at the Pedrollo VX and VXC ranges.

Is it self-priming?

No. It needs a flooded suction or a foot valve on the suction line.

Is there a stainless steel version?

Yes. The NGA-PRO has the same hydraulics with the pump body, backplate and shaft also in AISI 316 stainless steel.

What is the maximum flow?

Up to 550 l/min on this model.

Delivery Information

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
