The Pedrollo NGAm 3C – PRO is a 1.5 kW (2 HP) all-stainless open-impeller centrifugal pump on a 230 V single-phase supply, moving up to 770 l/min at up to 14.4 m head. Pump body, impeller, backplate and shaft are AISI 316 stainless steel.

The stainless version of the NGA, for sea water, brackish and treated water, fish farming and food-grade duties where cast iron would corrode. The open impeller passes light solids.

Product overview

The Pedrollo NGAm 3C – PRO is a 1.5 kW (2 HP) open-impeller centrifugal pump on a 230 V single-phase supply, built entirely in AISI 316 stainless steel. It covers 100 to 770 l/min with a working head of 14.4 m down to 5.7 m, the same duty as the matching cast iron NGA.

AISI 316 resists chlorides, so the NGA-PRO suits sea water intakes, brackish and saline water, water treatment, fish farming and food and drink premises where hygiene and corrosion resistance matter. The open impeller lets it pass water with light suspended solids and fibres without clogging. Install indoors or under cover.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference from the NGA?

The hydraulics and performance are identical. The NGA has a cast iron pump body with a stainless impeller; the NGA-PRO is stainless steel throughout, including the body, backplate and shaft.

Can it pump sea water?

Yes. AISI 316 stainless steel resists chlorides, so it suits sea and brackish water. Rinse through with fresh water after use if it will stand idle.

Is it self-priming?

No. It needs a flooded suction or a foot valve on the suction line.

What solids can it pass?

Water with a small amount of suspended solids and fibres. It is not a sewage pump.

Delivery Information

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
