The Pedrollo CP 190-ST4 is a 1.5 kW (2 HP) stainless steel centrifugal pump on a 400 V three-phase supply, delivering up to 250 l/min and 35 m head. It shares its hydraulics with the cast iron CP but is built for water that would corrode cast iron.

Pump body, impeller and shaft are all stainless steel, so it suits softened, treated and slightly aggressive water, and applications where hygiene matters.

Product overview

The Pedrollo CP 190-ST4 is a 1.5 kW (2 HP) single-impeller centrifugal pump on a 400 V three-phase supply, covering 40 to 250 l/min with a working head of 35 m down to 15.5 m. It is the stainless steel version of the CP 190: the same performance, but with pump body, impeller and shaft in stainless steel instead of cast iron.

Use it where a cast iron pump would corrode or contaminate the water: softened or treated water, rainwater and greywater reuse, food and drink premises, and light industrial process water. The ST4 grade is AISI 304 stainless; the ST6 grade is AISI 316L for water with a higher chloride content.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between ST4 and ST6?

ST4 pumps are made in AISI 304 stainless steel and suit clean and softened water. ST6 pumps are made in AISI 316L, which resists chlorides better, so they suit brackish, treated or more aggressive water. The pump performance is identical.

How does it compare with the cast iron CP?

The hydraulics are the same, so a CP-ST gives the same flow and head as the matching CP. The difference is the materials: stainless steel throughout instead of cast iron body and shaft.

Is it self-priming?

No. It needs a flooded suction or a foot valve on the suction line. For suction lift from a tank or well below the pump, look at the Pedrollo FUTURE JET-ST stainless self-priming range.

What is the maximum working pressure?

6 bar on the CP 100, 130, 132, 150 and 158 sizes, and 10 bar on the CP 170, 180, 190 and 200.

Standard delivery:
Standard delivery is free on most orders. Some items may incur a delivery charge depending on weight, size or value. Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:
Next working day delivery is available for a £16.50 + VAT delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
