The Grundfos series of MAGNA pumps has earned plaudits for their easy-to-use, intelligent and innovative technology.
The focus of the models is to achieve maximum efficiency at all times. This is managed through the AUTOadapt function included as standard in every model within the range. This unique function carries out regular proportional pressure adjustments in order to ensure that the Grundfos Magna 3 D pump is always set at the most efficient level.
More about this product
This unique feature benefits both:
- Consulting engineers, who can rest assured that the pumps meet the necessary performance standards without being overly big or expensive.
- Installation specialists, who know that little to no follow-up manual adjustments will be necessary, with the pump able to achieve the optimum performance standards automatically.
The MAGNA range offers unprecedented reliability, and an incredibly easy-to-use installation connection (simply plug-and-pump). A range of quality features are put in place to achieve the best possible results:
- The pumps contain both threaded and flange connections in order to allow for easy installations in both new and already existing systems.
- The rotor used in the models makes use of permanent-magnet technology which is designed to help increase energy savings at a higher level than other speed-controlled circulator pumps can manage.
- Sophisticated electronics within the unit mean it remains cool and can continually operate without any issues.
- An easy-to-use interface based around simplicity. The operating panel shows only the most essential performance parameters, meaning that it’s easier to read than others in the industry. Pump performance, meanwhile, can be adjusted with a simple button press.
- The team behind the MAGNA conducted a great deal of research and 3D testing prior to release, ensuring that the final model’s pump housing and impeller are perfectly optimised to fit together. This helps to conserve the amount of energy used.
The MAGNA series can be used to suit a range of different hot water systems, including central heating, mains pumps, mixing loops, heating and air-conditioning. It can also be installed into solar-heating systems, an external signal enabling the pump to operate according to the maximum curve.
The MAGNA 3 D is a twin head version of the popular main model.
