EVAK puddle sucker pumps
EVAK puddle sucker pumps RESIDOX 750-110v
- Established 1975
- Trusted by thousands of customers
The Evak Residox 750 (110V) is the higher-output manual puddle sucker pump in the Residox range, built for larger flood areas, longer hose runs and applications where water needs moving over distance or discharged uphill. It shares the Residox 400’s low-level pumping down to 1mm, with significantly more capacity behind it.
- Highest flow rate in the Residox range
- Stainless steel case, cast iron housing, Hytrel vortex impeller
- Manual operation, no priming required
- 110V – suited to site use via a transformer
More about this product
Overview
The EVAK Residox 750 (110V) is the higher-output ultra-low-level manual puddle pump in the Residox range, built for larger flood areas, longer hose runs, and applications where water needs to be moved over distance or discharged uphill. It is the highest flow rate puddle pump in the range, sharing the construction and low-level pumping characteristics of the Residox 400, with significantly more capacity behind it.
When to Choose the 750 Over the 400
The 750 is the appropriate choice when flow rate matters more than cost. It delivers 330 litres per minute and a maximum head of 16 metres, against 250 l/min and 11m on the Residox 400, clearing larger volumes faster and pumping further from the source.
For straightforward domestic flooding and standard nuisance water, the Residox 400 is usually sufficient.
Ultra-Low-Level Pumping
The Residox is designed for jobs that conventional submersible pumps cannot finish. Where a standard pump stops drawing once the water drops below its inlet, the Residox continues pumping down to approximately 1mm above the floor, leaving surfaces almost dry. That makes it well suited to flood recovery, basement clearance and any application where minimal residual water is the priority.

No Priming Needed
Unlike some other puddle pumps (such as the Tsurumi LSC range), the Residox does not need to be primed with water poured into the pump body. Place it down in the water to be removed, switch it on, and pump. The pump is fully submersible and should always be operated submerged or with water present at the suction base, and should not be left to run dry.

- 1 x 2 inch (50mm) hose tail
FAQs
The 750 delivers more flow (330 l/min vs 250 l/min) and head (16m vs 11m), so it’s the better choice for larger floods, longer hose runs or uphill discharge. For straightforward domestic flooding, the Residox 400 is usually sufficient.
110V is the standard site-safety voltage, run via a transformer – suited to construction sites and hire fleet use rather than domestic mains.
No – simply place it in the water and switch on.
Yes – the 2mm free passage and Hytrel vortex impeller are built for dirty, debris-laden flood conditions.

What is a submersible pump?
A submersible pump is designed to operate fully submerged in the liquid it is moving. The motor is sealed inside the pump body and cooled by the surrounding water. Submersibles are used for drainage, sewage, septic tanks, deep wells and boreholes, and for raising water from sumps, cellars and floodwater. Many stocked at Anglian Pumping handle solids in suspension.
Can submersible pumps handle solids and sewage?
Yes – some submersibles are designed for clean water only, others handle solids up to 50 mm or full raw sewage. Anglian Pumping stocks ABS, BBC, Flygt and T-T Submersibles ranges that include vortex, single channel and grinder impellers for different solids handling requirements. Always match the pump to the maximum solid size and the type of effluent it will see.
When should I use a submersible pump instead of a surface pump?
Use a submersible when the water level is more than around 8 metres below the pump installation point – surface pumps cannot self-prime beyond that depth. Submersibles are also better when the liquid contains solids, when noise must be minimised, or when the pump needs to operate in confined spaces such as sumps and chambers where a surface pump would not fit.
