APSs fully equipped workshop enables them to carry out all pump repairs. In a standard pump refurbishment the mechanical seal and bearings would replaced to ensure a long working life.
When a refurbishment is complete the pump will be performance tested and compared against the manufacturers figures. All data from the test is logged and available in graphical form if required.
All refurbishments are carried out to an incredibly high standard. Where possible dirt, grime, rust etc will be removed via bead blasting or chemically cleaning in an aim to return the pump to its original manufactured condition.
