APS offer a high quality service for repairing your gearboxes.

The service is offered over a vast range of types and sizes from small helical worm boxes to large industrial reducers.

APS’s engineers have an extensive knowledge of gearboxes to ensure that endfloat, tooth contacts and shaft surfaces are to a tolerance that the customer would expect.

Gearbox Engineering

A general gearbox repair would entail the following:

• Collection from site.
• Wash, strip and inspect paying special attention to signs of wear etc.
• Repair or new unit quoted.
• All parts will be cleaned, degreased and outer casing bead blasted.
• All new parts will be genuine manufacturers where possible.
• Unit reassembled, filled with lubricant and fully tested.
